If I were doing this commercially I could live with talented but obnoxious people. However, as I do it for fun and relaxation, I much prefer to work with talented and fun people.

Studios

Studios I have used are:

The Light Exchange in Rathmines, Dublin.
Susan and Emer provide a warm welcome. Studio is compact but has everything you need.

Imagery Studio in Randalstown, Co. Antrim.
Roy has some great sets and an eclectic collection of props. A warm welcome always assured.

The Casting Couch in Merrion Square, Dublin.
Genevieve provides a nice space, very centrally located. The main downsides are that you need to provide your own lighting (although they can arrange hire) and the rates are expensive if you're a hobbyist.

Makeup artists

I have worked with Debbie Taaffe on shoots with Grace and Jorja. She is a consummate professional, wonderfully talented and an absolute joy to work with. You can see more of her work on folio32, Model Mayhem and Net-Model.

I recently worked with Sarah of Cocoon in Limerick on a shoot with Gillian. Professional, talented, creative and just plain fun to work with.

Ashling French did Rachel's makeup on this shoot. Again, great to work with, talented and professional.

The makeup for the shoot with Martina, Donna & Lesley was done by Laura Wilson. You can see more of her work on folio32, Net--Model and Model Mayhem. A fine artist and professional who is great to work with.

Makeup for Grace's shoot by the lovely Megan Hughes also on Model Mayhem. A great makeup artist and fun to work with.

Makeup for Tahti by Dawn also on Model Mayhem. Great artist and a lovely lady.

Stylists

I have worked with Jade Gavin on shoots with Aisling and Gillian and on both she has brought a wonderful sense of style and creativity to the shoot, together with a great sense of humour and a lovely personality..
